Change Course Shortlisted for the Broadbent Institute Jack Layton Progress Prize

March 5, 2024

We are honoured to be shortlisted for this years Broadbent Institute Jack Layton Progress Prize. The Jack Layton Progress Prize recognizes progressive campaigns executed in the past year, with significant momentum and engagement. The prize is awarded to a campaign with vision, engagement, imagination and effectiveness.

Change Course was nominated by a student organizer. We are truly grateful for their trust and the glowing nomination which reads:

“Change Course Canada, a leading force of student organizing, led by students and listening to students. Their advocacy related to RBC Off Campus initiatives has united students coast to coast in addressing one of the major issues of the day, climate change, and the organizations that finance oil and gas, and empowering students to take it on.”

We were shortlisted alongside many other amazing individuals and organizations whose work we admire. Thank you Broadbent!
